Cem Aksel, one of Turkey’s leading jazz pianists, will perform at the New Orleans Jazz Festival. Aksel will take part in the festival with his specially prepared “Anadolu Jazz” project.
The project brings together traditional Turkish music melodies with modern jazz harmonies. In addition to Aksel, Swedish bassist Lars Danielsson and American drummer Eric Harland will also take part in the concert.
