Soprano Ayse Deniz won the “Best Soprano Performance of the Year” award at the prestigious Vienna Opera Awards. Deniz impressed the jury with her interpretation of “La Traviata” at the Vienna State Opera last season.
Speaking at the award ceremony, Ayse Deniz said, “This award belongs not only to me but to all Turkish opera artists.” The artist will take the stage at Milan’s La Scala next season.
